It’s hard to believe we’re already in October! Just look at the difference in our camping field — these photos were taken from exactly the same spot, just one month apart! The sunshine, warmth and welcome spells of rain have worked wonders, turning the countryside beautifully green. It's certainly been nice to have the warm weather linger a little longer but the last couple of days have definitely started to feel more autumnal.

We’re staying open for camping week by week, for as long as the weather allows, so there’s still time for a little autumn getaway!

A good night’s sleep is an important part of a relaxing break away and there are plenty of little touches to help you feel cosy and comfortable in our shepherd’s huts.

After a relaxing soak in the hot tub under the stars, snuggle up in your warm duvet, or sit outside under a blanket by the fire pit with a hot chocolate, tea or coffee.

A lovely round-trip walk from Spring Hill Farm down to the village of Barford St Michael and back again.

Sunny skies, countryside, village lanes and plenty of fresh air — with a sneaky stop at The George for a well-earned drink along the way.

A simple countryside walk, made even better with a pub in the middle of it.

When you’re camping, sleeping outdoors can take a little getting used to, especially when you’re more accustomed to your own bed!

A few simple things can make a big difference — staying warm and cosy after sunset, getting comfortable, and getting used to the sounds of the countryside around you.

Our final Woodland Yoga session of the summer!

Our last session of the summer is coming up on Sunday 6th September here at Spring Hill Farm.

If you've been thinking about giving Woodland Yoga a try, this is your last chance to join us this summer!

Our sessions are relaxed and beginner-friendly, with gentle yoga, fresh air and the chance to slow down and take some time for yourself.

And whilst we are happy to see some rain at the moment (the countryside and our gardens certainly need it!), we are hoping it might take a little break for us next Sunday!
