We're taking some time out this week as we need to catch up on a few jobs. We never got to finish some fencing as building a yurt got in the way...😅.
We also need to get some photos done. Is it fair to say the weather hasn't been great.....and when we have had good weather, we've made the most of it and headed out to the beach! 🤩
It's hard to capture just how beautiful the yurt is and you can literally wake up and give your horse a treat a few steps away from your front door!
Also due to the wonderful community at allowing us to ride through and introducing us to others, we have a whole new set of woods and tracks made avalible to us. I've been blown away by the generosity of my neighbours and how much they love seeing horses pass through. I might have mentioned Bob is a 'love sponge'. If we're ever at a pub or cafe stop he usually has a crowd of fans around him, so he helps sell it for me. 🤣🤣

Another wonderful day riding around the local tracks. I even took these ladies on a bit of an exploring mission and saw some new tracks that even I hadn't seen before!
These ladies have come all the way from the Isle of Wight, so we have an action packed holiday planned. Off to the beach tomorrow! 🤩

We've loved being able to ride through the The Growforward Project and use the tie up facilities. . Many thanks to them for embracing the idea and making it happen!. I have two new guests and their horses passing through.today. 😍

🐴 Exciting news — we've upgraded our parking facilities...

You can now officially tie up your horse at The GrowForward Project and pop in for a coffee and a fry up!! 🍳☕

We've installed horse tie rings especially for our brilliant equine visitors, after the wonderful community at North Devon Pony Glamping asked us to become a rest stop on their rides through the valley. And honestly? We think this might be our favourite thing we've ever done. 🤍

The GrowForward Project — where you can arrive by car, by foot, by bike... or by horse. 🌿

The end of a very busy week here are NDPG. We've just waved goodbye to Beth. Although this is Beth's third visit, it was the first time we'd been out for a long ride together and Willow was a star. 🤩She's been over bridges , through streams, opend gates, stopped off for a cafe lunch, ridden through miles of local tracks, down a small bit of local lanes. ....there is so much to do locally I could have shown her around for days. I've even got some new tracks to show you. There is less than a mile either way of road work , with a cafe/pub stop before heading home, from a long day out exploring what we have here on our doorstep.

They're all ready for us to rock up , tie up and chill out at The Growforward Project! 🤩
I've dropped off haynets and headcollars. Currently we have the fully licenced Crafty Cafe, and The Soul Garden will be open again soon.
A fantastic end to a day of exploring the local tracks.

Before opening NDPG, Bob and I did lots of work together planning trail rides and building confidence in each other. Now he's 22 I'm looking to work more closely with Cleo incase he ever needs time off
Now, Cleo is a little more complicated.
1. She's a mare 2. She's chestnut 3. She's part Arab 😆😅.
We decided to continue our journey with the help of Heather The Horsemanship Journey .
Yesterday was an incredible experience . Heather did a lot of work with us, and I've decided to put a reel together about my catching issues. 🙄
Ive owned Cleo for 10 years and never been able to catch her while Bob was in the field. After Heather left we tried out her teachings....
