They are called Briallen (Welsh for Primrose), Rhosyn (Rose), Blodyn Menyn (Buttercup) and Ffion (Foxglove). Relax and enjoy camping surrounded by beautiful fields an
d wildlife overlooking the stunning Snowdonia mountain range. Four spacious 5-metre bell tents are spread out in a tranquil pasture with breath-taking views. Explore ten acres of meadows and woodland; build a den, paddle in the stream or watch the sunset. Our site is secluded but well situated for the beaches and attractions of Anglesey. We welcome families and couples looking for an authentic camping experience immersed in nature. Each high-quality canvas bell tent is thoughtfully decorated to fit in with the wildflower meadows outside. The comfortable double bed has a thick duvet to ensure a cosy night’s sleep. Deluxe camping mats and bedding can be provided for up to 2 children and a travel cot and baby seats can be requested as well. The 5 metre boutique bell tent has an extra-height entrance and central pole to create a spacious, airy interior with carpeting underfoot. Each tent has its own seating area and bbq/fire pit, but you are more than welcome to take your evening beverage and camping chair anywhere on the 10 acre site. All you need for alfresco meals is provided: saucepans, frying pan, plates, bowls, cups and cutlery as well as basic utensils. There is a covered area with a warm shower, cooking facilities, gas stoves and cool storage. Look out of the tent door for woodpeckers, buzzards and swallows, hedgehogs, foxes and red squirrels. Erw Deg is in a beautiful spot looking over Eryri / Snowdonia, near Llandegfan. From here you can easily reach the bustling town of Beaumaris (5 mins by car) where you’ll find a castle, playground, pier, boat trips, delis, a fishmonger, local craft and lifestyle shops. We’re also close to sandy beaches such as Llanddona (10 mins by car), Benllech Beach and countless others. The popular coastal path that loops around the island is also nearby. Menai Bridge, which has a number of lovely restaurants and a Waitrose, is only five minutes away too. The rest of the island and the bridges providing access to the rest of North Wales are easily reached from Erw Deg. We would be happy to recommend special days out and places to eat. There are so many activities to do nearby, including horse riding, cycling (we are on a designated cycle route), kayaking, climbing, mountain walking, surfing, and plenty more.
