Thank you to all those involved in bringing us and our guests drinking water during the silent hours following the mains water contamination.
Hopefully the issues will be resolved quickly.
Your huge efforts are much appreciated.

Tune into Darcey Bussell's Wild Coasts of Scotland tonight on More 4 at 9pm!

The Strictly Come Dancing star heads to Uist and her first stop is to Eriskay where she meets Donald John MacInnes, one of a number of people keeping the vanishing breed of the rare Eriskay pony alive.

In South Uist, home to one of the strongest Gaelic speaking communities in the world, Darcey meets Chloe Steele, a leading Highland pipes player and big name in traditional music. Chloe also runs a Gaelic children’s choir and they teach Darcey a few words of their native language.

She then journeys on to North Uist to meet crofter Fraser MacDonald, who uses seaweed to fertilise the soil on his land and joins the RSPB volunteers at Loch Sandray in restoring the habitat for rare birds.

Darcey’s second pitstop ends with a stunning crossing across the sands to the small island of Valley, as she accompanies the MacDonald family as they move their Highland cattle to their winter pasture.
