There are a few different ways to stay at Dipple Farm, depending on the time of year and the kind of break you’re after.

Our winter camping is available through the colder months, with a small number of pitches for tents, bell tents, campers and trailer tents. Weekly stays are available for up to 28 days, with facilities including a winterproof hot shower, hot water washing up area, washing machine access, a small onsite shop, tea and coffee station and some electric hook up.

Then from May to September, our main summer campsite opens back up for relaxed camping in the North Devon countryside, with plenty of space, lovely views and lots to explore nearby.

And if camping isn’t your thing, our cosy dog friendly cottage is available for countryside breaks too, with the coast, villages and walks all within easy reach.

If you’re travelling to Dipple Farm from Bideford, please follow this route to avoid the pothole filled lanes.

From Bideford, take the A39 towards Abbotsham. At Abbotsham Cross roundabout (EX39 3DU), take the road towards Yeo Vale / Woolfardisworthy.

Continue past the now closed Milk Kiosk at Doe Hill (EX39 5EE), then turn right at the junction towards Yeo Vale.

Carry on through Yeo Vale, Alwington, Goldworthy, Parkham and Melbury Lakes towards Putford.

At Putford, look out for the sign for Lane End Camping & Aquatech, EX22 7XL and turn right there.

Follow the road past Narracott, then continue up the hill past Nutton Farm. The road will then take you downhill towards a bridge.

Dipple Farm is on your left immediately after the bridge.

Please use this route when coming to stay with us, as it’s the best way to avoid the rougher lanes.

Nestled in the peaceful North Devon countryside on our beautiful 27 acre smallholding, Dipple Farm Cottage is the perfect little retreat for couples, solo travellers and dog owners looking for a relaxing break away.

This cosy stone cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a king size bed, log burner, fully equipped kitchen, private garden and patio area perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while listening to the birds 🐦☕️

Surrounded by flower meadows, woodland and the River Torridge, it’s the ideal place to reconnect with nature. On clear nights you can even enjoy stunning dark skies and views of the Milky Way ✨

We’re also just a short drive from Clovelly, Westward Ho!, Bude and the beautiful Hartland Devon Heritage Coast, making it the perfect base for exploring North Devon.

Dogs are welcome too, with access to fields, woodland and riverside walks right on your doorstep 🐾

Winter camping at Dipple Farm is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to stay through the colder months.

We have a small number of pitches available, with gravel grids on pitches, a winterproof hot shower, hot water washing up area, washing machine access, a small onsite shop, logs and an indoor tea and coffee station.

We can take tents, bell tents, campers and trailer tents, with some electric hook-up available. Unfortunately, the lanes are too narrow for motorhomes and caravans.

Weekly stays up to 28 days:
£70 solo
£84 per couple

Some places just make you breathe a little deeper.

Dipple Farm Cottage sits quietly amongst fields, woodland and wildlife, giving you the chance to press pause for a few days and enjoy the slower side of life.

Spend the morning watching the birds from the garden, wander through the countryside in the afternoon and come back to a cosy cottage in the evening. No noise, no crowds, just the sounds of nature and plenty of fresh Devon air.

It’s the sort of place where a weekend can feel like a proper break away 💚

We’ve now got very few spaces left for our autumn and winter camping, so if you’ve been thinking about booking, now’s the time to get in touch.

For the first time, we’re staying open over the winter for adults only, with a small number of pitches available in a quiet, remote part of Dipple Farm.

We can take tents, bell tents, campers and trailer tents. Unfortunately, the lanes are too narrow for motorhomes and caravans.
