A breathtaking drone spectacular is coming to Stanley Park this October as Blackpool celebrates a very special milestone — the park’s 100th anniversary! 🎉

Taking place on Saturday 3 October, hundreds of drones will take to the skies, creating an incredible aerial display above one of Blackpool’s most iconic green spaces.

The show will be produced by Celestial, the team behind the spectacular drone display filmed at Stanley Park for Britain’s Got Talent in 2025 — a show that went on to captivate millions of viewers across the UK. 🌟

The display will form the centrepiece of a two-day Centenary Festival, running from 2–3 October, with plenty happening throughout the weekend.

Iconic River Caves Could Make a Triumphant Return to Pleasure Beach!!!
A legendary attraction at Blackpool Pleasure Beach could soon be welcoming visitors once again, with the park revealing plans to bring back the much-loved River Caves. Amanda Thompson, managing director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, has confirmed that the historic ride could reopen next year, reviving a piece of the park’s heritage that has been enjoyed by generations of holidaymakers. The River Caves first welcomed guests more than 120 years ago in 1905. Its leisurely boat journey became a familiar part of the Pleasure Beach experience, with the attraction being updated and refurbished several times throughout its long history.
Its potential return would restore one of Blackpool’s most recognisable classic attractions and give a new generation the chance to experience a ride that has played a unique part in the resort’s story.
