THE BEANSTALK IS GROWING… AND SO IS DEMAND FOR BLACKPOOL’S NO.1 PANTOMIME!
Best seats, best dates and tickets from just £18 - families urged to book now for Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime at Blackpool Grand Theatre - The giant festive spectacular!

It might be June, but half the year has already gone! The sun might be shining, and Christmas may still feel a whole beanstalk away - but at Blackpool Grand Theatre, the festive countdown has already begun.
And for families who know their panto, there is one golden rule: the best Christmas seats never wait until Christmas.

Tickets are now on sale for Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime, as Jack and the Beanstalk climbs into The Grand from Friday 4 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, promising a giant festive adventure packed with comedy, magic, music, mayhem and the kind of full-throttle family fun that has made The Grand’s panto one of the biggest dates in Blackpool’s Christmas calendar.

With tickets available from just £18, audiences are being urged to book early to secure the best seats, the most popular dates and the family-friendly performances that always disappear fastest.

Because panto is not just another show. It is the moment Christmas properly begins.
It is grandparents laughing louder than the children. It is little ones shouting at the stage for the very first time. It is glitter, giants, gags, sweets, songs, daft jokes, dazzling costumes and that unbeatable feeling of walking into a beautiful theatre knowing the whole family is about to have a brilliant time.

The Grand is going bigger than ever as Martin Dodd for UK Productions Ltd, in association with Blackpool Grand Theatre, presents Jack and the Beanstalk – A GIANT Panto Adventure! - a colossal, comedy-crammed, 3D spectacular bursting with bean-credible festive fun.

Beloved Lisa George, best known to millions as Beth Tinker in Coronation Street, joins the cast as the magical Spirit of the Beans, bringing warmth, comic timing and a sprinkle of West End magic to this spectacular family adventure.

And returning to cause absolute chaos is Blackpool favourite Steve Royle, crowned Best Comic at the UK Pantomime Awards 2025, back as Silly Simon. Audiences can expect unstoppable giggles, whirlwind mayhem and the kind of quick-fire comic brilliance that has made Steve one of the most loved performers in panto.

Martin Dodd, Producer, UK Productions Ltd, said: “Blackpool Grand Theatre audiences know and love a proper pantomime, and that is exactly what we are bringing them with Jack and the Beanstalk - a big, spectacular, laugh-out-loud family show with real heart. We are incredibly proud of the quality of this production, from the stunning sets and costumes to the 3D effects, the music, the comedy and, of course, an incredible cast who know exactly how to bring this story to life for a Blackpool audience. Pantomime should feel magical from the moment you walk through the doors, and this year we are making sure families get a giant festive adventure they will remember long after Christmas.”

Andrew Howard, Head of Audiences, Marketing and Sales at Blackpool Grand Theatre, said: “Pantomime at The Grand is so much more than a show in the calendar - it is part of Christmas for thousands of families across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. It is grandparents bringing grandchildren, parents reliving their own childhood memories, school groups roaring with laughter and audiences coming back year after year because they know the magic, warmth and joy they will find here. That emotional connection is why we love creating and sharing Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime every year. It belongs to our audiences as much as it belongs to us, and Jack and the Beanstalk is shaping up to be one of those brilliant, joyful, not-to-be-missed Grand panto experiences.”

This is no ordinary climb up the beanstalk. The production promises thrilling 3D effects, spectacular visual moments, West End-quality staging, dazzling sets, stunning costumes, show-stopping choreography, mind-blowing lighting and a laugh-loaded script designed to send audiences soaring into the clouds.

Even more special, this year marks the story’s first return to Blackpool Grand Theatre for more than 20 years, making it a long-awaited festive comeback for panto lovers and a brilliant first-time adventure for a new generation of families. Reimagined with modern sparkle and packed with all the heart, humour and magic audiences expect from Blackpool’s No.1 Pantomime, this is the kind of Christmas treat people will want to say they saw.

For 50 years, the all-male comedy ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (affectionately known as “The Trocks”) has delighted audiences of all ages with sell-out performances featuring their fabulous sense of fun and flawless dancing.

* * * * “This is the funniest night you’ll ever have at the ballet.” The Guardian

Originally from New York, the Trocks are now loved worldwide for their sassy spoofs and hilarious homages to classical ballet, where the dancers each transform into two personas, both ballerina and danseur!

Every performance frivolously froths with tutus and testosterone, blush-pink ballet pumps, fierce false eyelashes and prima ballerina attitude. However, what makes this company extraordinarily special is their immaculate technique and daring physicality, surpassed only by their impeccable comic timing.

“The Trocks deliver a kick from a steel toe-cap in a silky pointe shoe.”
Daily Telegraph

“We came to laugh, but we stayed to worship”
The Telegraph

“One of the most unusually gifted dance companies in existence”
The Stage

* * * * “People come for the laughs, but stay for the dancing”
The Scotsman

TOUR PROGRAMME
Swan Lake; Pas de Deux or modern work or solo to be announced; Go For Barocco; Dying Swan; Walpurgisnacht

Swan Lake – Choreography after Lev Ivanovich Ivanov. Music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
The Trocks’ version of what is probably the best-known ballet in the world is an elegiac phantasmagoria of variations and ensembles in line and music. Swept up into the magical realm of swans (and birds), it is the company’s signature work.

Pas de Deux or modern work or solo to be announced

Go For Barocco – Choreography by Peter Anastos. Music by JS Bach.
Billed as the stylistic heir to Balanchine’s “Middle-Blue-Verging-On-Black-and-White Period,” Go For Barocco has become a primer in identifying stark coolness and choreosymphonic delineation in the new (neo) neo-new classic dance!
Dying Swan – Choreography after Michel Fokine. Music by Camille Saint-Saens.
It’s probably no exaggeration to say that the Trocks’ version of Dying Swan, the solo created for Anna Pavlova in 1905, has become as iconic as the original.

Walpurgisnacht – Choreography by Elena Kunikova after Leonid Lavrovsky. Music by Charles Gounod

Inspired by the Bolshoi Ballet’s Valpurgeyeva Noch, the Trocks offer their version of the lavish ballet revelling in its dramatic, supernatural, mythological themes to joyful effect.
