.Veg Art In 2004 I graduated as a mature student in Archaeology. I discovered during my final year I was on the wrong course. I decided to do an AS Level in Art.

In 2009, content in my career as a Hostel Support Worker, I wanted to learn something new that wasn't job related. I got an E. That's possibley because I didn't read the exam paper and let my class mates back comb my hair during the exam. In September 2009 I walked into the Bradford Playhouse stating "I'm not an artist." In 2010 I became co-founder of ArtFarmers, an arts collective that emerged fr

om the Playhouse. I still don't know if I'm an artist or just an idiot with a fist full of clay. I have had some great times and met some of Bradford's finest minds from all walks of life. It's just as dirty as Archeaology, but more funny...

The work that you can see here, is not what I consider to be my best, it is ALL that I have produced in the last few years, minus a few things I did without my camera!

A series of paintings, over 21 days. One in 2 minutes and one in 15 minutes. Paint is not my preferred medium of expression, but I am drawn to colour. I'm also interested in process, because I am naturally an impatient person. Life makes me wait and I can't stand it. I wondered what would happen if I made myself undertake something with out it having a definite or certain goal.

Honestly, how have I been neglecting you? Things are quite exciting at the moment and I have been so very busy with Creative Writing and Decorating and what not... Have you been keeping up to date with the blog?

I've started to brew with the book, so will be scribbling away when I have half a minute...

And the Delius Centre is having an evening of Rumi poetry. I couldn't be happier!

Hope you are all wonderfully well :)

Isn't this wonderful? What would you put in your own tiny gallery?

I've been struggling to write my book and things where not coming in the order I anticipated or even at all. Over the last couple of days I slowly resolved the block, by writing the end in the middle! And then I saw this. Not only is it syncronistic, but it is also inspirational and full of wonder. Please watch this and let your imagination roam free...

TED Talks "If I should have a daughter, instead of Mom, she's gonna call me Point B ... " began spoken word poet Sarah Kay, in a talk that inspired two standing ovations at TED2011. She tells the story of her metamorphosis -- from a wide-eyed teenager soaking in verse at New York's Bowery Poetry Clu...

I Am Your Eternal Friend.

As the hoover carries away three hours, people shout their joy.
Bass reverberations hang in the air and the smell of oranges play around the room.
There are small injuries, the kind that remind you of the times you have shared.
And as you check in the mirror, you will catch your breath and remember.
I drank to catch up. I paused, stopped and listened.
The fog of the moment embraces me and the common purpose highlights each individual need.
Once again, we are here together.
Reaffirming what we already know to be true.

Does anyone want anymore beer?
