What a truly special place, and what an extraordinary host. We recently had the pleasure of staying with Charlotte whilst walking Hadrian’s Wall, and it’s fair to say the experience exceeded every expectation.

The setting is simply breathtaking — the kind of location that stops you in your tracks. But it’s Charlotte’s warmth and genuine hospitality that really sets this place apart. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home.

The rooms are beautifully kept, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything a weary walker could wish for. Dinner and breakfast were a real highlight — lovingly prepared from fresh, quality ingredients and outstanding value for money.

We left feeling restored, well-fed, and deeply grateful. We will absolutely be back.

A week old Injury, turned into a life saving trip to the Hospital

On Friday we had a bit of an incident at the , needless to say it has a happy ending, where the lady concerned has been recovering in Hospital and is today on her way home, wearing a Neck Brace, it turns out she had fractured her neck quite seriously
Anyway all is well, and a tears of Joy and happiness and probably a new life long friend
