We are really pleased to let you know that for the 2027 season, we will be working at the Camping & Caravanning Club site at Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. This was our No.1 choice, and we are both really pleased. Many of you will know that the site is right next door to Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm Shop. The Chipping Norton site is open from April to the end of October. It would be great to see lots of you, whether it be for a day trip or a longer camping stay.

So it’s finally time to say goodbye to Sandringham as this is our last night on site. We’ve had a brilliant season here with wonderful weather and a good team. We love this way of life, it gives us the opportunity to still be active and sociable during the summer season and have our own time in the winter. We do have plans for travel over the winter months and hopefully my broken ankle won’t impact on this too much although adjustments may have to be made. I will be going into Warwick hospital on Tuesday morning where the decision will be made on whether surgery is the best option in order for me to recover more quickly and have less issues in the future, this will be favourable considering the occupation I have of course. We will find out midweek where our next contract will be taking us which is exciting, I am now pleased we have opted for a smaller site next year 👍 So quite a bit to deal with over the next few months but I’m sure it’ll all turn out well in the end. Thankyou for all your well wishes after my accident they’re most appreciated xx

So my season has unexpectedly come to an end ! What 60 year old thinks it a good idea to try the kiddies slide ? 2 fractures and a displaced joint later I’m on my way home for possible surgery to fix the damage. Feeling a right numpty but you can’t knock me for feeling younger than I am lol 😂 Looking forward now to next season, we should hear on Monday where our next site will be ☺️ In the meantime I shall be recovering at home and hopefully getting away in Paloma for a few uk adventures before our cruise in Jan 😊

We were thrilled to see a beautiful rainbow 🌈 on our way into Kings Lynn yesterday and the rain was torrential, however we needed it of course. We also have an update on our season here, our contract has been extended until 22nd Sept as we will be covering for our managers that are going on holiday. Next week we should have an email to confirm our site for next season which is exciting. After that we will be going back home for the winter and hopefully some adventures in Paloma before Christmas, so watch this space ! 😊
