When was the last time you went to the Cinema? We recently took our eldest for the first trip to the Cinema to see the Sheep Detective and we loved it!! Have you seen it? How can you go wrong with a film about talking sheep in Wales? Finished with a beautiful sunset above the Wye. Did you know our local indepenent Cinema also shows theatre and has an art gallery? They have incredible pieces by local artists are reasonable prices. They have also put in planning for the most incredible improvements. Well worth a visit.

Do you have a reactive dog? We've recently had a reactive dog stay and their people told us we'd be perfect for a lot of reactive dogs, so I wondered, do any of our lovely followers have reactive dogs and if so, what do you look for in a holiday? Is there anything that isn't clear enough? Or anything else that would help or make you want to stay?

How quick can you pack? Did you miss last weekend away in the sun?

This weekend looks good too and we've reduced the minimum stay to 2 nights so grab it while you can just over the border in Mid Wales!!

I'd love to see your lightening photos if you got any? I missed taking any, i was too busy collecting the washing in as i could see and hear it all around us but we had a clear starry sky above and missed any rain. Some of those posted look incredible. This was taken not too far away...

You’ll never guess what we’ve been up to this weekend 😅

What’s everyone else been doing this bank hol weekend? We’d love to hear 💛

We’ve somehow managed a mostly family weekend… alongside a changeover (although who can complain about hot tub duties in weather like this? ☀️🛁)

And then came the little one’s birthday trampoline build…

Now, sensible people would probably build it in the garden, wouldn’t they? Not us. The weather was far too hot, so the boys decided the shed was cooler.

Great idea… until three of us were wedged trying to wrestle a fully built trampoline through the shed doors like when the dog suddenly spots a dropped chicken nugget near the toddler’s highchair and you have to to squish your entire body into the doorway to stop them barging through 🤦‍♀️😂

We finally got it out… wonky. Fixed it.
Then realised there was absolutely no chance of getting it down the lane without backup. Enter emergency Nana 💪😂

After much shuffling, lifting, hedge dodging and trying not to decapitate ourselves or fall head first into nettles at the gates… we made it to the garden.

Only for it to go wonky AGAIN.
And still… the safety net and poles needed adding 😅
