Love or hate thunderstorms?

All Summer we've had the most beautiful sunny weather and I have enjoyed the tub changes. Who minds water when it's that hot?

I have to admit I am not such a fan in the rain. This was the thunderstorm I managed to change the water in yesterday (you can't hear the thunder rumble sorry)- it was so wet even the dog waited INSIDE the shed with me-which is unheard of!! 🤣 But I won't complain about the rain as the fields and wildlife all really need this rain, not to mention the amazing firefighters and farmers fighting the wildfires. If I hadn't been soaked through (even in my coat-who can ever find a coat with hood when they need it? Or is that just me?) I'm sure I would have done a rain dance! 🤣

Does anyone else love thunderstorms? The strength and majesty of them? The rumble of the giants in the sky? A reminder that however big you think your problems, they are all small compared to the world.

Do you have a celebration coming up?

Did you know where we can, we hand make celebration cards for our guests, sometimes I make them by myself, sometimes our daughter helps.

They are usually unique and not always in the same media, sometimes painting, sometimes pastel, othertimes ink stamping (and often not perfect like the last my daughter stuck on backwards so the card opens the wrong way, I hadn't the heart to point it out as she looked so proud to help).

We enjoy being creative and helping make your celebration as special as possible!!

Did anyone else manage to get pregnant during building works?

We like watching Grand Designs and always used to laugh as 90% of the time, the partner was pregnant during the build so couldn't help.
Guess what? I got pregnant during the planning as it took so long.
It took us a while the first time so we never imagined we'd almost have a baby by the time the planning actually came back. If you've ever been in my situation, you will know how frustrating it is, watching everything happening and not being able to help with much. Having to watch your mother in law getting stuck in and being stuck on the sidelines. The advantage of it though, was that I had time to sort things after our girl was born.

Do you drink tea? I am going to be contraversial now, in that I don't drink tea or coffee. Never have. So our tea choice...

Do you drink tea?

I am going to be contraversial now, in that I don't drink tea or coffee. Never have.

So our tea choice is based on my husband's and daughters preference and our aim to shop local and support our local economy.

Where we can't shop local, we go as local as possible which in this case is Welsh Brew- but it is also my husbands favourite tea brand.

What is your favourite? And do you have any suggestions for a non tea drinker?

Does anyone else suffer from parent guilt? That you don't spend enough time with your children as you're so busy with life? Well, this weekend, I took the eldest to the Circus. And it was brilliant. She loved it. I wish it hadn't been the last night nearby so I could recommend to our lovely guests. If they are back next year, we will definately be going again.
