Apparently, quite a lot. 😄

One of our favourite things about Brora Beach is the sheer amount of space.

Miles of sand. Big skies. Vast seas. And, quite often, remarkably few other people.

It’s the sort of place where an evening stroll can turn into a much longer walk than intended.

Today we welcomed our 1,000th guest to Brora Escapes.

When we opened our doors last summer, we really didn't know quite where this adventure would take us.

Since then, there have been NC500 road trippers, families holidaying, dogs making themselves at home, couples escaping for a few days, weary explorers walking or cycling north and plenty of people discovering Brora for the first time.

Guests have come from all over the world. Some stayed for one night. Some stayed for longer. But every one of them chose our little corner of the Highlands - and that means an enormous amount to us.

So this isn't really about celebrating guest number 1,000.

It's about saying a big THANK YOU to every single guest for supporting this little family business. ❤️❤️❤️
