Today we welcomed our 1,000th guest to Brora Escapes.

When we opened our doors last summer, we really didn't know quite where this adventure would take us.

Since then, there have been NC500 road trippers, families holidaying, dogs making themselves at home, couples escaping for a few days, weary explorers walking or cycling north and plenty of people discovering Brora for the first time.

Guests have come from all over the world. Some stayed for one night. Some stayed for longer. But every one of them chose our little corner of the Highlands - and that means an enormous amount to us.

So this isn't really about celebrating guest number 1,000.

It's about saying a big THANK YOU to every single guest for supporting this little family business. ❤️❤️❤️

Two days gives you time to do rather more than simply pass through Brora - explore the coast, visit Dunrobin Castle, spend some time on the beach and still have an evening or two to relax back at your pod.

Sometimes the best road trips are the ones that aren’t planned months in advance 🚘.

If an NC500 adventure is still on your summer list, Brora makes a lovely stop on the east coast — with the beach, Dunrobin Castle and plenty to explore nearby.

And when you’ve finished exploring, there’s a comfortable bed and a quiet evening waiting for you 💤.
