Quick visit to our lovely Ingleton cottage today to restock all the goodies for our guest welcome baskets 🧺✨

We love making sure our guests arrive to a warm welcome and a few treats waiting for them.

While we were there, we couldn’t resist squeezing in a quick waterfall walk too — one of the many reasons we love this place so much! 🌿💧

Beautiful time of the year to visit the Yorkshire dales with the fields full of spring lambs. So many beautiful walks right from our doorstep with many pubs and restaurants to rewards yourself with. Or grab a takeaway to enjoy on the balcony or cosy night in.
Special mention to our favourite Italian outside of Italy 🇮🇹 La Tavernetta, across the road, now serving Gelato during the day.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Inglenook Cottage. Ingleton’s Santa parade and return of the Elf race is on 16th November and there’s a lovely feel about the place.

No change to the beautiful walks and welcoming locals at the many cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Great 9.9 mile loop up Whernside today, one of Yorkshires 3 peaks. Starting at the Ribblehead which is just 10 min drive from our cosy cottage in Ingleton.

It’s a beautiful time of the year to visit Yorkshire with the changing colours of the scenery, fast flowing waterfalls and many cosy pubs with welcoming fires.
