England play again tonight in Boston, USA, kick off 9pm UK time against Ghana.

Meanwhile, closer to home the folk in Chelmorton continue to support the nation as they do every 2 years when England play in a major tournament.

Before the 2002 World Cup, residents of Chelmorton, near Buxton, wrote out the word England in stones on a steep field.

Since then, before every European Championship and World Cup, villagers paint the letters white so they can be seen for miles around.

Air passengers have reported seeing the word, which is about 150ft (46m) long, from aeroplanes making their descent to Manchester Airport.

Out here, the land always comes first. Before we’re a campsite, we’re a working farm — and right now, that means one thing: hay season. 🌾 🚜

The long grass you see in this photo is nearly ready for cutting, and it’s buzzing with life while it grows.

If you look closely, you’ll spot some of our regular visitors making the most of it — the hares love this time of year as much as we do.

Did you know the nearest parkrun is right here in Wirksworth?
Black Rocks parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9am and is a proper community favourite.

• Course: A scenic out‑and‑back 5k along the historic High Peak Trail — all gravel paths, rolling trails and cracking views across Matlock Gorge and Riber Castle.
