What’s your favourite look for a shepherd hut.. Rustic Charm or Modern Style?
Would you prefer a rustic traditional style shepherd hut, or a sleek and modern space with all the latest amenities?
The Classic style hut,
A classic shepherd hut, clad in wood with a corrugated iron roof. Inside, exposed beams and warm lighting create a welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for curling up with a good book by the fire (or a wood-burning stove!) after a day spent exploring the countryside.

Or the Modern Chic,
A shepherd hut with clean lines and a contemporary facade. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, and the interior boasts sleek finishes and innovative features. This option is ideal for those who crave a luxurious getaway with a touch of rustic charm.

The interior is on its way to completion.
Reclaimed pallet wood wall cladding. Reclaimed wooded double doors with original stained glass and a scaffold board floor.

Windows were made by me using timber from previous projects, and the glass is 16mm DGU with argon gas and clearcoat.

A little insight into this build. Fully insulated, corrugated metal outer with a nice powder coated black curved roof from Tithe Barn Shepherds Huts, complimented inside with a rustic wooden finish.
This hut will be situated within a small campground with an external composting toilet and outdoor kitchen, so the inside is spacious with a double nook bed, small work surface for the absolutely necessary morning cup of coffee, under bed storage, and cosy log burner and a small seating area.

All huts can be designed bespoke to your needs. Want a toilet and shower inside. Absolutely. Discreet fold away bed? Yes sir. A full bar with draught taps and beer barrel storage. If that’s what you’re after!

I’m a big fan of reusing as many materials as possible in my builds and these front doors were no exception. Stripped and sanded and ready to be painted up to match the theme of the hut.

A nice double opener to throw open and let the sunshine in with your morning coffee ☕️
