A perfect blue-sky Sussex day 💙 Beautiful John Hitchens exhibition at - a dreamy art-filled barn at the end of a track surrounded by rolling farmland. Afternoon tea at - under new ownership, I can report that the cakes are sublime 🍰 And a lovely stroll around picturesque Amberley with its wisteria-hung thatched cottages and glorious Downs backdrop. Surely one of the prettiest villages in England? And all this just a few minutes from Nest Stay 🌸

Wonderful evening celebrating the reopening of in our neighbouring village of Amberley. This is a dreamy country pub with a menu to die for. New owners are the dynamic Gladwin brothers who were born and bred across the fields in Nutbourne Vineyard, and have already built a substantial foodie empire in London. Now they are returning to their roots and bringing their culinary magic home. This evening was warm and welcoming and utterly delicious! The best of Sussex and the best of British 🇬🇧
