Wrexham Walking Festival is just around the corner and this year two walks have been included to celebrate the 1876 Year of Wonder Project!

These take place on…
Tuesday 9th June 2026 and Thursday 11th June 2026,
at 2.15pm for a 2.30pm start, meeting at Wrexham War Memorial, Chester Street (GR SJ336506).

The walks take approx. 2.5 hours and cover 4 miles on a relatively flat route around the city centre. Comfortable walking shoes, water, hat and waterproof clothing are advised.

Trained volunteer walk leaders will guide you providing information to help set the scene as it may have been in 1876 at the various historical sites along the way.

All the walks in the festival are free of charge and there is no need to book – just come along!

You can find more information on the Events page of wrecsam1876.com and www.walksinwrexham.com
