Yesterday we said goodbye to Robin, who had travelled all the way from County Kerry to stay at Inishmore Island B&B to slay those awesome Erne crocodiles (pike) on the fly! Oh, did he have a great two days (and then weather was kind too)!!!!

We hope Robin will return for more fishing adventures.

Inishmore Island B&B is a great place to base yourself for your next fishing holiday, whether to slay the crocs or bag up on roach, bream and hybrids 😍😍😍😍

We have a gorgeous guest breakfast room, but when our guest travelling alone asks to have breakfast at "The Chef's Table" (AKA the kitchen), we are only too happy to oblige 😍😍😍 We love making our guests feel at home

When B&B guests take time out of their lives to send you a "thank you" card (in this instance, all the way from the United States), it is totally unexpected but truly appreciated. The world is full of special people 😍😍😍

Storm Amy gave us challenges. Over the course of Friday, we lost electricity and WiFi (and a few roof tiles need replacing), but our guests were unfazed. By all accounts, the wedding up at Belle Isle was great, and we are ideally located for visiting guests πŸ‘Œ

This is our last review of the 2025 B&B season. It's been another fantastic year, but it is our guests that make it all worthwhile. We get to meet fascinating people from all corners of the globe. Thank you to you all 😍😍😍😍

Today we said a fond farewell to Sue and Tom, from America. Sue was exploring her family history and Tom had requested a day fly fishing. I took Tom over to Glenkeen Trout Fishery and between us we landed (and released back into the water) six lovely Trout, all between 2lbs and 3lbs. We wish them more exciting adventures as they travel around Ireland 😁😁😁

We work hard to give our B&B guests a memorable stay. We don't get it perfect every time, but we hit the mark with Frédéric and his family. What a wonderful family. We would love to welcome them back 😍😍😍

This weekend we are privileged to have a member of the "Cassidy Clan" staying with us, attending the Clan Rally.

We understand that over 90 delegates are attending from all over the world. The history of the Clan, the Rath (in Ballycassidy), and it's work and association with Devonish Island, is fascinating.

Anyone that has an interest in Irish family histories would enjoy learning about the Cassidy Clan.

Welcome to the official Cassidy Clan website. Learn about Cassidy and irish history, and join us in 2020 for the next Cassidy Clan rally in Ireland.

Today we said a fond farewell to our group of anglers from Doncaster. The fishing was challenging at times, but the craic was fantastic. We have laughed all week.

The guests chose our evening meal option and have enjoyed a full Sunday roast and midweek dishes such as steak and ale pie, pork stroganoff, Thai green curry, along with homemade deserts of fruit crumble, sticky toffee pudding, rice pudding, to name a few.

We wish them a safe journey home. Its been our pleasure to have you stay with us.
