Meet Clun 🌿

Alder Barn sits just outside one of Shropshire’s loveliest little towns.

There’s a ruined castle overlooking the river, beautiful countryside in every direction and the sort of streets that invite you to slow down and have a wander.

Stop for something to eat, explore the castle, follow the river or simply see where your feet take you.

And then head back to Alder Barn, put the kettle on and decide what tomorrow’s adventure might be.

Sometimes the best places are the quieter ones.

Long dinners that somehow last all evening.
Morning coffee while everyone slowly appears.

Alder Barn sleeps eight, with generous spaces for gathering together — and plenty of room when you fancy a quiet moment too.

Welcome to Alder Barn 🌿

Tucked away in the beautiful Shropshire countryside near Clun, Alder Barn is a place made for time together.

Sleeping up to eight, there’s room to gather family and friends, bring the dogs and settle in for a few days of countryside, comfort and space to simply enjoy being together.

And because Alder Barn has been thoughtfully designed to be accessible, it’s a place where more of the family can holiday together too.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be showing you around the barn, introducing you to our little corner of Shropshire and sharing some of our favourite places to explore.
