We’re aware of the concerns being shared regarding staff and supplier payments, and we want to address this openly.
The pub has faced financial difficulties following the closure of the canal last summer and the downturn in the hospitality trade due to the cost-of-living crisis. This has had a serious impact on our business.
As a result, there have been delays in completing some payments to members of staff and suppliers. We take full responsibility for this.
We have been in direct contact with everyone affected and are working to resolve all outstanding payments as quickly as possible. Most have been very supportive for which we are grateful.
We understand the seriousness of this and are committed to putting it right.
