Dave and I walked past here and BOTH said…

Remember when that was the paper shop?

And then the memories started. 🥹

I remember coming to Cullen as a wee girl and my mum buying my bucket and spade from here before we headed down to the beach. 🪣🏖️

Funny how one little building can suddenly take you right back.

It’s a house now… but neither Dave nor I can remember WHEN it stopped being the paper shop!

💙 Did you holiday in Cullen as a child?

And have you introduced the next generation to this special place yet?

William has been coming to Cullen since he was a little boy. Last week, he brought his own children here.

We hear stories like this so often from guests staying at Salt View.

There’s something incredibly special about a place that becomes part of a family’s story. Grandparents introducing grandchildren, parents sharing the beaches they explored as children, and creating new memories together.

Knowing that Salt View can play a small part in those traditions means the world to us.

This was taken at the iconic Bow Fiddle Rock, just a few minutes from the house.

This is what a stay at Salt View is all about… paddleboarding, coastal walks, breathtaking scenery, fish and chips by the harbour, watching the sunset over the sea, then heading back to relax with uninterrupted sea views from the comfort of the house.

Unfortunately, we’ve had a last-minute cancellation, this week, which means Salt View is now available for 3 nights from 22nd July.

Thank you Nat, for a lovely week at Cullen.

We’ve just spent a week at SaltView, and it was exactly what we needed. The weather was fantastic. We caught up with family, met friends for walks along the harbour, and actually slowed down for a change.

The house instantly felt comfortable and homely. We found ourselves enjoying a coffee, or out in the summer house, chatting, before deciding what to do. Evenings were spent cooking together, watching the sunset and enjoying a lovely walk around the town.

It’s one of those places that just makes you relax. We’re already talking about coming back, thank you for a relaxing break Nat, we’ll definitely be back. Mark

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team!

⏰ 16 hours per week
🕘 Working hours between 9am–3pm Monday - Saturday

Previous experience is preferred but not essential — full training can be provided for the right person.

We’re looking for someone who:

✔️ Can follow instructions well
✔️ Works well as part of a team
✔️ Can also work independently
