Leisure Attendant PT

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Leisure Attendant to join our team. This is a varied role combining reception, customer service, and hands-on responsibility for maintaining our gym, pool, and spa facilities to a high standard.

You will be a key point of contact for guests and members, helping to create a welcoming, safe, and well-run environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Welcoming guests
Answering calls, handling enquiries, and taking spa and membership bookings
Selling memberships, treatments, and promoting current offers
Processing payments and taking responsibility for till accuracy
Maintaining accurate membership records and supporting admin tasks
Ensuring changing rooms, poolside, and gym areas are clean, safe, and well maintained
Carrying out regular checks of the facility, including basic poolside safety checks (training provided)
Replenishing towels, stock, and refreshments
Supporting guests with queries and ensuring a high standard of customer care at all times
What We’re Looking For

A friendly, professional manner with strong customer service skills
Confident communicator, both in person and on the phone
Reliable and able to work independently
High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
Comfortable balancing customer service, cleaning, and administrative tasks
A proactive approach with an awareness of sales and promoting services
Working Hours

This is a part-time role with shifts across the week, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility during busy periods is essential.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
Experience in leisure, hospitality, or reception is desirable but not essential
Basic IT skills required; training will be provided on internal systems

Bar Attendant

As a part of the Bishop's Gate team, you will be assisting the Food & Beverage team primarily within the Wig Bar & Lounge and assisting our banqueting team for weddings and private events. You will experience a varied role and your main duties will include.

Ø Welcoming and interacting with visitors to the Bar & Lounge

Ø Delivering exceptional service standards, whilst also anticipating Guests and Customers’ needs

Ø Improve upon and develop your bar skills with an emphasis on cocktail making and wine service.

Ø Working as a key element within an established and empowered operational team.

Ø Ensure effective communication within the bar team, particularly across different service areas.

Ø Lead by example and ensure that the team is motivated to deliver customer focused and sales driven service

Ø Assist in the training and development of the bar team

Under the leadership of our Food & Beverage Management team, you will contribute as a vital part of our small and friendly team. Where you will continue to build upon your existing skills, and of course benefit from the variety offered by a role in hospitality.

You will be motivated, willing to work collaboratively with, and in support of, your fellow team members, taking pride in the part you’ll hold in the Bishop Gate’s success.

Essential Criteria:

· Previous relevant experience

· Demonstrable experience of delivering outstanding service
