Lovely review from last weekend's guests:

We found Bob's Place at a convenient location halfway on a long journey so decided to stay for two nights to split up the travel time. We felt right at home, and for our needs it was perfect. Josephine had recently swapped the sofa bed for a double bed so that made for a comfy sleep for us all. It is clear that Josephine cares about the property as well as her guests. It's so lovely to have a place that is both affordable and available and the Josephine's commitment to keep it that way is amazing. For a family of 5 that's not an easy feat! Sundown Adventure Land (20 minutes drive) is where we spent our in-between day, a fun (and slightly bonkers) place. We'd recommend it for families with young children (it's aimed a up to 10 years) as there's a lot to explore, plenty of play parks and a selection of theme park style rides. Thank you Josephine for maintaining Bob's Place as a short term let.

I've just finished preparing Bob's Place for Christmas week and thought it was a good time to send out my annual 'thank you' message.

It's been another great year full of lovely guests, so thanks to you all for continuing to support our little business. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Here's wishing you a very Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy 2026.
