I've just finished preparing Bob's Place for Christmas week and thought it was a good time to send out my annual 'thank you' message.

It's been another great year full of lovely guests, so thanks to you all for continuing to support our little business. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Thanks for keeping us busy this summer!

It's been a gorgeous autumn day and while I was here doing the changeover I took the opportunity to go for a walk on the September sunshine. The village is looking lovely at the moment.

Hi everyone,

Due to recent retirement, we are on the lookout for people who can help us maintain Bob's Place. We have our October maintenance lock down looming and are looking for someone who can:

* Carry out PAT tests and also add some interlinked smoke alarms to our current system
* Fit a fire door
* Replace some splashbacks in the kitchen and possibly the worktops

Please get in touch if you'd like to quote and have availability between 12th and 25th October.

Hi everyone,

Happy May Day Bank Holiday, it's looking to be a good one!

It's like the sun has arrived and everyone has remembered to book their accommodation for the summer - bookings are coming through thick and fast.

Remember that Bob's Place runs like EasyJet: the earlier you book, the less we cost! We have a set target and adjust our nightly rate according to it. We also give discounts for stays of over three nights.

As always, we love to host contractors/corporate guests during the week and would be grateful for a mention if you hear of anyone on the look out. The more of these stays we get, the cheaper it is for leisure stays.

And day five we're all sorted and ready for guests again. It's been a busy week but I think the bungalow looks so much better. Huge thanks to everyone who has helped us this week.
