Ready for a weekend that feels less like a chaotic mega-festival and more like a laid-back camp-out with great music?
Now celebrating its 7th year, this mini-festival is all about keeping things chill. We strictly limit attendance numbers to ensure there are no massive crowds and no endless queues, just open space to relax around your campsite and party hard with live music in the marquee whenever the mood strikes.
While it’s primarily designed as an adult-focused getaway, your furry friends are more than welcome (yes, we are completely dog-friendly!), and you're free to fire up the BBQ whenever you wish.

Food & Drink
The Can Bar:
Unbelievably cheap drinks, with canned lager starting at just £2.50, alongside draught real ale and real cider at just £4/pint.
The Cocktail Bar:
Serving up your favorite spirits, wines, and mixed drinks.
Festival Food:
Grab freshly made pizzas and nachos right from the pizza counter, or check out the delicious options at our arena street food trader.

Tickets & Giving Back
Weekend adult tickets are a steal at only £42! Even better? £2 from every ticket sold goes directly to the Great North Air Ambulance. We'll also be keeping the charitable vibes going on Saturday with our extremely popular cash bingo and a booze raffle.

Saturday Theme!
This Saturday, we’re throwing a Hawaiian party. It’s the perfect excuse to dust off that Hawaiian shirt or give your coconut bra a much-needed airing!

The leaked prices suggest the following for the event called the 499 Festival Lanchester taking place from the 10th to 12th July in Lanchester, near County Durham:

Carlsberg Lager 440ml £3 or 2 for £5
Strongbow cider 440ml £3 or 2 for £5 (optional free shot of blackcurrant juice)
John Smiths 440ml £3 or 2 for £5
Guinness 440ml £3 or 2 for £5
Real ale pint £4
Real cider pint £4
Cola 330ml £1
Bottled water (size TBC) £1

Converting the cost in millilitres of a can to that of a 568ml pint this would equate to £3.23 for a pint of Lager, Cider, Beer or Guinness when taking advantage of the 2 cans for £5 offer. Of course this will be in the form of a can served instantly to the customers at the bar as opposed to a draught pint with a refreshing frothy head. Although the pints of real ale and real cider will be served in full 568ml plastic pint glasses. Some specially branded commemorative pint 'pots' will be available at a small additional cost of £2. Although cost conscious customers may bring their own cups if they wish.

There will also be a second bar selling cocktails, spirits and wine. Prices at this bar are as yet to be confirmed. Previous years festivals suggest these prices will be very reasonable.

Our insider suggests there may also be bar snacks including bags of scampi fries, bacon frazzles, salt 'n' vinegar flavoured fish 'n' chips crisps all available at £1 each.

Sitting in the sunshine sipping a peach cocktail thinking how good it would be to hear some chilled out sunny-day tunes from Colonel Kilgore's Soul Team . Well how about Saturday night at 499 Festival Lanchester we get a party set full of classic sing and dance-along funk, disco and even some ska bangers? AND! how about we add copious amounts of free shots of Na**lm? Maybe some other Kilgore goodies from the Colonel's bag of plenty? Sound good?
