Fire & Wine are performing live for us Sunday afternoon, from 4pm. Get in early to grab your seat to see this outstanding talented duo, who origianlly debuted Eccleshall on our Introducing Stage at EFestival in March. If you missed them, you missed out. Don't make the same mistake twice!

Featuring Ric on guitar and Erin on vocals, Fire & Wine serve up proper belters and dance-along tunes that are impossible to resist. See you at 4pm on Sunday (7th June).

Sundays were made for a lie in. That's why we serve our breakfast menu between 9am-3pm on a Sunday. Treat yourself to one of our barista made coffees, Staffordshire Oatcakes oozing with cheese, and a seat where you can read the paper, get in to a good book, or simply watch the world go by. Give yourself time to relax and let us take care of you.

Dogs are part of the family, so why should they miss out on a trip to The Little George?

Whether you're joining us for a drink, a bite to eat, or an overnight stay, four-legged friends are always welcome. We've got plenty of space for muddy paws, wagging tails and well-earned snoozes after a countryside walk.

Planning a getaway? Dogs can stay in our guest rooms too. Just let us know when booking, as dog-friendly rooms must be reserved in advance. Additional charges apply.

So next time you're heading out, there's no need to leave your best friend at home – bring them along to The Little George.

There's a whole world on the back bar if you fancy an escape — crisp Belgian blondes, proper continental lagers, a few we struggle to pronounce and recommend anyway. Ask whomever's pouring; they've got opinions and they're usually right. A 17th-century coaching inn with a passport behind the bar — that's the Little George.

Come and take a spin around the world with us, without leaving the comfort of your chair, this Thursday.

The World Cup kicks off next week, so before you start shouting at the telly, come and prove you actually know things.

Quiz Night, 8pm, £1 a head, cash for the cleverest team in the room. Rounds span capitals, one-hit wonders, and at least one question that'll have the whole table arguing. Bring the mate who's "great at quizzes" — Wednesday's their day to deliver.

New month, same correct decision. Nacho Night's on tonight — a proper mountain of it, cheese into every layer, sour cream and salsa standing by for the diplomatic. It's a sharing dish in name only; we've all seen someone "share" a portion with themselves. First round's on the table at 5pm.

“Do you spit or swallow… your wine, that is?”

National Wine Day lands on Bank Holiday Monday, and as ever, The Little George is here asking the important questions.

With weather like this though, waiting until Monday feels unnecessary. Consider this an open invitation to begin your research early.

Red, white, rosé… whatever helps further the scientific study.

It’s all in the aid of science, after all.
