This newly fledged robin took its first flight from the nest opposite our front door — and promptly landed just inside the doorway! A fleeting but beautiful moment of nature paying us a little visit here in Dean Village. 💚

A breathtaking view of the iconic Victorian railway bridge, captured from Cramond Island as the sun dipped into a deep red sky. With the tide out at Cramond Bay, we made the crossing on foot—one of Edinburgh’s most unique hidden adventures.

A little surprise just by our front door — a tiny nest tucked into one of the planters, with one newly hatched chick and a second egg beside it. 🐣 We think this might be a Redstart nest, and it’s been a lovely thing to spot as the season changes. 🌿
