My favourite cut of flowers to welcome guests arriving today - just hanging on in there 🥵 - it’s been a battle this year keeping them hydrated but particularly love the muted tones as the hydrangeas begin to fade out.

We’ll be investing in some féaux arrangements for The Barn and Cottage as we transcend into the Autumn season next month - fabulous range Fairways Garden Centre homestore in Ashbourne 🌺 😍

The temperature feels a little fresher for our next guests, a family of 4 arriving today but still gloriously sunny 🌞… It’s great timing as school is out for the summer!

There’s so much to keep everyone entertained at The Barn. Stunning walks are just on our doorstep, Chloe’s coffee shop is a must visit and Heritage Wood offers a lovely escape. On Monday, the Maze 52 returns with a pop-up beach! Alternatively, drive out and explore The Peaks. Don’t miss Mam Tor at sunset 🌅, Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne – our local town.

Whatever you choose to do, have a lovely weekend everyone! 🧡
