Beautiful new cushion from Seaforth Designs on the West looking very much at home here on the East Coast

Bought on a recent trip to the gorgeous coastal village of Solva in South West Wales.

With other special finds from the likes of Scotland, Scilly Isles and Canada we’re slowly adding to the Old Coastguard Station’s story one memorable piece at a time 🩵

Filey Beach on World Ocean Day 🩵

It’s incredibly important to us to use environmentally friendly products at the Old Coastguard Station as much as we can.

Some of our favourites are (the laundry sheets are fantastic), (love the smell of the bathroom cleaner) and Yolaist natural kitchen sponges (no nasty plastics)

A little behind the scenes from yesterday getting a few maintenance jobs done before the next guests arrive.

The house has been booked back to back recently so it was good to have a bit of time for some of those extra jobs that keep everything in top shape.
