Summer has sadly slipped away and Autumn is now in full swing 🍂
Hillside Cottage has certainly been keeping us busy, with back-to-back bookings and so many wonderful guests through our doors.

We do have a little availability left for November, so if you’re looking for a cheeky little getaway, a change of scenery, or simply some time to switch off and reset before the Christmas mayhem begins, we’d love to welcome you. 🤎

Our mini guest this weekend has been vlogging his trip to the iconic Sycamore Gap! 🌳

If you’re new here, Sycamore Gap is a special part of Northumberland’s history, nestled along Hadrian’s Wall. Sadly, the original sycamore tree was cut down, but the good news is that new growth is beginning to emerge! 🌱

If you’re staying with us at Hillside Cottage, we highly recommend taking this beautiful route. Simply park at the car park opposite The Sill, then head across Hadrian’s Wall to discover Sycamore Gap for yourself. 🥾

We now have **just ONE full week** remaining in our summer season for 2026:
