This lady has smashed it! Sue East Ruston Cottages - Norfolk Dog Retreats has walked 80 miles in 4 days in aid of and in her epic Big B**b & Bark Walk🐾🎀

A mammoth challenge that was sparked by a conversation about gratitude and wanting to give back. I am humbled by her determination and dedication to raising awareness and funds for these two amazing charities and we were honoured to host Sue's big finish

After what looked like it was going to be a wet start, the weather gods smiled on Sue today for her first day of The Big B**b and Bark Walk!

We haven't done a walkabout in a while so I thought I'd show you a few things that are new since we shared our last one.

The biggest difference is the new king size bed. The old one was lovely but, being a double, I've been meaning to swap it for a while. So that's now 2 king size and 1 superking/twin beds, all without footboards for people who are taller than me (most everyone, then!).

Can any eagle-eyed followers notice something else that's different in that bedroom? It's something I'm trialling to see if my guests prefer it over what we usually have. Any guesses? Thoughts?... 🛌🐾 🧐🔍

Sue from East Ruston Cottages - Norfolk Dog Retreats is doing a sponsored walk, visiting every holiday cottage in the ERC portfolio - Manor Barn included. She'll be walking an average of 20 miles a day over 4 consecutive days. She's raising money for two wonderful charities - one of them, Little Lifts, was my choice and they helped me enormously when I had a tough time to contend with the year before last. I'd be so grateful if you are able to support them too. A donation would be amazing and I know how hard times are right now but every penny really does make a difference. Whatever you can spare would be so gratefully received. I still have my Little Lift boxes. I'll do a separate post soon about them so you know exactly what they are and why they make such a difference to women going through treatment for breast cancer. Tx
