Hello there 👋🐾 How are you all doing?

I took a little 2 week break that stretched out quite a bit longer. I know the algorithm will punish me but social media started to feel a bit too much - I found myself capturing moments for the 'gram and not for me and so it felt like time for a little reset. I didn't expect it to take so long.

What have I missed? What's been happening in your world?

We've welcomed a new cocker boy to the family and we couldn't be more pleased with him. We've had lots of fun introducing him to our little corner of Norfolk and generally taking time to take it all in.

But tell me.... how is it July already?!?!?

This lady has smashed it! Sue East Ruston Cottages - Norfolk Dog Retreats has walked 80 miles in 4 days in aid of and in her epic Big B**b & Bark Walk🐾🎀

A mammoth challenge that was sparked by a conversation about gratitude and wanting to give back. I am humbled by her determination and dedication to raising awareness and funds for these two amazing charities and we were honoured to host Sue's big finish

After what looked like it was going to be a wet start, the weather gods smiled on Sue today for her first day of The Big B**b and Bark Walk!

We haven't done a walkabout in a while so I thought I'd show you a few things that are new since we shared our last one.

The biggest difference is the new king size bed. The old one was lovely but, being a double, I've been meaning to swap it for a while. So that's now 2 king size and 1 superking/twin beds, all without footboards for people who are taller than me (most everyone, then!).

Can any eagle-eyed followers notice something else that's different in that bedroom? It's something I'm trialling to see if my guests prefer it over what we usually have. Any guesses? Thoughts?... 🛌🐾 🧐🔍
