If pubs were properly supported by the breweries, this wouldn’t keep happening.

The statistics are heartbreaking:

🍺 161 British pubs closed in the first three months of 2026
🍺 That’s almost TWO pubs every single day
🍺 Closures increased by 26% compared with the same period in 2025
🍺 366 pubs in England and Wales were demolished or converted during 2025

Without proper support, fairer costs and urgent action, even more community pubs will disappear. Something desperately needs to change!

As we close this chapter at The White Hart, we wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last two years.
From popping in for a drink, enjoying a meal, joining us for events, celebrating special occasions, or simply stopping by for a chat — every visit, kind word, recommendation and bit of support has meant more to us than you know.
We’ve shared so many wonderful memories, laughs and moments with you, and we’re incredibly grateful to have been part of the Hartlebury community.
After two amazing years, it’s time for us to close this chapter. While it’s never easy to say goodbye, we’ll be leaving with full hearts and countless memories that we’ll treasure for years to come.
