Managing a diverse portfolio of 30 units across the UK, this accolade speaks volumes about their dedication and expertise. Last week at Matrix Consultancy our Director Carey had the pleasure of spending the whole day with Mark Walker of Walker Jackson Ltd.

Mark has been in the social housing sector for many years and wanted to understand more about the good, the bad and the ugly of the Serviced Accommodation world!

The morning was spent discussing the industry in general and how RentMyHouse operate on a daily basis. We then researched Mark's hotspot area to see how feasible the area would be for SA and went over in detail all of the systems and procedures we have put in place over the last 6 years to ensure we can efficiently operate with limited staff members. RentMyHouse look after circa 30 properties with a proportion being managed clients properties so Carey was able to refer to live actual data.

Mark’s comment at the end of the day was “I’ve read books and listened to podcasts on Serviced Accommodation and how amazing Rent2rent properties are but at the end of the day that can all bull*$ #% and what I’ve learnt today is invaluable, seeing real life figures and data” this was so rewarding to hear.

We enjoy every minute of delivering our Serviced Accommodation consultancy sessions. The session is always delivered on a one to one basis to ensure our clients get the most out of the day as opposed to sharing the room with other businesses that may be at a different stage in their property journey.
