We’re already taking bookings for 2027 at Jarrahdale Beach House, so if you’re planning a seaside break next year, our diary is open! ☀️

One of the nice things about staying in Herne Bay is having Canterbury just down the road 😊

It’s only around 20 minutes away by car, so it’s easy to spend a day exploring the city, visiting the cathedral, browsing the shops or stopping somewhere for lunch.

Then it’s back to Jarrahdale Beach House for the evening, hopefully in time to catch another lovely sunset over the sea 🌅

If you’re staying with us and haven’t visited Canterbury before, it’s definitely worth adding to your plans!

I think one of the nicest things about Herne Bay is that it’s still a proper, traditional seaside town 😊🌊

We’ve got the pier, independent shops, little cafés, fish and chips, and of course, the good old British seaside weather, which can change its mind about six times before lunchtime! 😂

There’s always something going on, but it’s equally nice just having a wander along the seafront and seeing where you end up.

It’s one of the reasons we love having Jarrahdale Beach House here. ❤️
