Hull Closes In as Huang Holds Lead at PIF London Championship
Charley Hull is firmly in contention heading into the final round of the PIF London Championship, sitting just three shots behind leader Anna Huang.
Hull made a huge statement earlier in the tournament with a stunning course-record 62 in the second round. She kept that momentum going with a six-under 67 in round three, highlighted by an impressive nine birdies, pushing her into second place.
Despite Hull’s charge, Canada’s Anna Huang remains in control after delivering a brilliant third-round 65, maintaining her narrow lead at the top of the leaderboard.
Hull’s round showed both consistency and resilience. She recorded four birdies and two bogeys on the front nine, before finishing strong on the back nine with five birdies and just one bogey. The five-time Ladies European Tour winner is now well-positioned to challenge for the title in the final round.
Elsewhere, Ireland’s Aine Donegan climbed into third place with a solid 69, while Thailand’s Patty Tavatanakit bounced back from a slow start in the tournament with an excellent seven-under 66. Wales’ Lydia Hall is also in the mix, as the competition tightens near the top.
With everything to play for, all eyes will be on the final round as Hull looks to chase down Huang and secure victory.
