A little look at what’s happening in our skies tonight 🌅✨

Here in South Devon, we’re in one of the best spots in the UK to see tonight’s partial solar eclipse, with around 95% of the Sun expected to be covered at its peak. The eclipse reaches its maximum at around 7.15pm, so keep your eyes on the skies!

And as if that wasn’t enough, Plymouth Hoe will be lighting up tonight as the British Firework Championships return for two spectacular evenings. Here’s a little throwback to last year’s display!

Tucked away in the peaceful Avon Valley, Gooseneck is the perfect spot for a last-minute escape to South Devon. Bigbury on Sea beach and the iconic Burgh Island are just a few minutes drive away, while the Avon estuary is right on the doorstep.

With a bright open-plan living space, cosy wood burner, two bedrooms and a lovely south-west facing garden surrounded by countryside, it’s a gorgeous place to slow down and enjoy a week by the coast.

Linhay has been beautifully refreshed for summer, offering the perfect countryside escape just moments from the South Devon coast.

Hidden away in a peaceful hamlet near Noss Mayo, this spacious four-bedroom barn conversion sleeps up to eight guests and is ideal for relaxed family holidays or long weekends with friends.
