Even when the skies are full of clouds the sun setting at Wells next the sea is a magical experience. Just the emptiness, the changing light and ofcourse the beach huts in all their glory. A 15min drive from the cottage it really is perfect morning noon and night.

When your holiday starts on a Sunday so roast is first thing on the agenda. It has to be rosecrownsnetti tried the roast pork today and it was amazing and the crackling was the best 😍
The sun is out, the roses at the cottage look gorgeous, and the beach is calling 🏖️☀️

You really are never stuck for something to do when in Norfolk. The pebble beach and windmill at Cley next the sea makes for a perfect scenic stroll. Only 20mins in the car from the cottage. Then a few mins onto Wiveton hall for breakfast or lunch with great views of the salt marshes.
We have some summer availability at our beautiful cottage.

Places to eat in Norfolk really are a plenty. The Carpenters arms in Wighton is the cutest little pub with a lovely atmosphere and amazing food.

is just 10mins in the car and is a lovely nature reserve always lots for the children and just a lovely place to relax and enjoy the wildlife. We’ve been a few times and is defo great place to return visit.

Hoping to find time to post on here every day for a while! I’m planning to share different places and things to do in and around Norfolk.
So my first is the cutest place to eat just few minutes away from the cottage. .burgers 🥰have to confess have not got there yet this year but we will. They set up every year through the summer season. It really is the loveliest setting and the burgers are amazing!

The weekend ❤️
A Friday drive to Norfolk, a quiet walk to the river, a gorgeous meal at The Carpenters Arms in Wighton.
Saturday a wander into town to Flour and Bean for buns 🧁 then drive to The granary in Snettisham great antique shop and tea room also stockist of French chic paint and I needed to stock 😍. Then a trip to Walsingham farm shop for hamper supplies and the cutest printed bags for our guests treats to go into. A short drive from there to Holkham for the greatest boardwalk to the beach, a coffee from the lookout and the walk was perfect. The weather was defo on our side, ended the day with a short walk to our local Wetherspoons for Saturday evening meal, the food is always so good.
Inbetween all this a little maintenance at our beautiful cottage. 8 years in and she is still looking great and just the most relaxing cosy place to stay.
