MAINTENACE & REPAIRS
We are a lettings and property management company who also specialise in day to day maintenance and repairs for a large portfolio of properties we oversee.
We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and multi-skilled maintenance operative with experience in a wide range of general maintenance and handyman tasks.
Although the properties we look after are predominantly in the Essex area, we also have a number of properties in the south east London area and the south east itself.
The general day-to-day maintenance and repairs may include (but not limited to) the following:
Arrange working schedule for repairs needed.
Set up and oversee works to completion and ensure they are completed to the required standard.
Ordering of replacement parts as and when necessary.
Plumbing to include leak detection and repair, blocked drainage, replacement taps, toilets and pipe work.
knowledge of repairing conventional boilers
Guttering works to include clearing, repairs and replacement.
Electrical to include replacing sockets, light switches, light fittings (internal and external) and electrical alterations and cabling.
Carpentry works to include replenishing wooden surfaces, hanging and repairs to doors and cabinets, door and window lock replacement, installation of blinds and curtains.
Glazing works to include replacement of glass, sash cords and springs.
Masonry works to include pointing and pest prevention.
Central heating works to include boiler fault repairs (non gas related), removal and replacement radiators.
Tiling to floors and walls to include grouting and silicone.
Painting and decorating to include preparation work, plastering, sanding and varnishing of wooden surfaces.
Appliance works to include the installation of, fault diagnosis, replacing of parts such as door seals, elements and fans.
The applicant must have a clean driving license as a car will be provided with tools
