Took this lovely family out for their first open water swim this afternoon ☀️

The group included the gorgeous wee Eva who was a little star at only age 3
She even took a jump off the jetty 🧜‍♀️

Pushed the adults a little out their comfort zones by ditching the wetsuits and taking them for a little endurance swim to the other side of the Loch and back.

Finishing with some fun diving off the jetty 🌊

Lochy Lochy, The Caledonian Canal, The Great Glen Way and Laggan Locks. Located at the head of Loch Lochy is the Eagle Barge Inn Great Glen Way. This superb "floating inn/restaurant" on the Caledonian Canal is a lovely place to grab a snack, a drink, lunch or an evening meal and is just a short walk from out home.

The Invergarry railway is a lovely visit. If I shout hello to the guys restoring the train they can hear me 🥰 it is a 60 second walk round the corner. Our house is the old station masters house so if your a train enthusiast then this is the spot for you 🚂

Swim in the loch yesterday evening.

This gorgeous wild camping spot is a nice leisurely paddle up from The Station House. It has several fire spots made up with lovely old tree trunks for seats as well as compost toilets. Wildlife here is incredible. I watched an osprey do some fishing in this very spot a few weeks ago!

If you like to do a spot of camping as well as staying in your van we are the spot for you ♥️

We will be open all year round. ☀️❄🌌

You will have a space in the driveway of our family home. Have as much privacy as you like (or more than welcome to come round the back garden for a chat and a cuppa with us) included in the price is use of canoe, fatyaks and life jackets.

The area is gorgeous and has many hikes and walks here so a great place to base. We are along the Great Glen Way, Fort Agustus is a 9 mile walk along the cycle track, great for a day hike or cycle as it is flat the whole way with some truly beautiful scenery along the way.
Where you will be parked is a 5 second walk to Loch Oich and I can also take you on a guided open water swim if you fancied 🌊♥️

Here is a slightly speeded up video of me walking from the main road end (school bus pick up) to our home. As you can see the Loch is right beside me and just behind the house.

This path is part of the Great Glen Way and has incredible walks all around. The cycle track is a lovely straight one that is ideal for little ones! You can go to Fort Agustus for a wee bite to eat and cycle back here (9 miles)
