Welcome to The Windmill at Melin Newydd 💫

Built in 1833, the windmill stands peacefully in Tynlon, near Rhosneigr. After a ferocious storm in the 1920s, the mill was badly damaged and eventually closed, later being used as a cattle shelter for many years!

In 2006, its previous owner began a careful restoration to bring the historic windmill back to life. The incredible transformation was even featured on The Restoration Man with George Clarke.

Now you can visit and stay for some peaceful countryside R&R at Melin Newydd 🌾🏡🌊
