A new addition to the heart of Beaverbrook...
 
Now hanging in The Atrium, an original work by Sir Alan Parker brings together a collection of imagined book covers, each offering a glimpse into the wit, irreverence and extraordinary visual imagination of one of Britain’s most celebrated filmmakers and creatives.
 
From Bugsy Malone and Fame to Midnight Express, Parker’s gift for storytelling reached far beyond the screen. In his later years, he returned to his artistic roots, creating works filled with the same sharp humour and satirical eye that defined his career.
 
Look closely and there’s plenty to discover. Like several of Parker’s works found throughout the Estate, it’s a piece that rewards a second look, and feels right at home within Beaverbrook’s storied walls.

A special few days at Beaverbrook with Master Geshe YongDong (Geshela).
 
This week, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming Geshela back to The Coach House Spa for a spiritual residency, dedicated to ancient Himalayan wisdom and mindful living.
 
Across his time with us, guests have gathered for meditation, conscious breathing, sound healing and conversation, sharing in teachings shaped by a lifetime of study and practice.
 
As his residency draws to a close, we take a moment to hear from Geshela himself, reflecting on his journey, his teachings and the wisdom he continues to share.
