We have made the difficult decision to close our doors at WoodLea ~ End of an Era😢

It’s with a heavy heart that we that we have no option but to close due to increasing Council Tax and Tourism struggles! It’s been far from an easy decision to make but we can no longer justify the new damaging rules being enforced in 2024.

We have had the most incredible four years, welcoming guests from all over the world and all over the UK, many guests who have now become amazing friends. We have collaborated with the best local businesses, welcomed travel bloggers and some famous faces😉 WoodLea has been the place where family and friends have gathered together to celebrate Birthdays, Anniversaries and Christmas with a warm Welsh welcome from Rod and Ang.
Just this year we celebrated becoming finalists at the StartUp Awards with our CoastalGroupCymru™️ and received much tourism recognition with wonderful publications in magazines, putting Llansteffan on the map!✨
After a long renovation journey we created a home away from home for our guests and we truly hope each guest that has stepped through the front door has had everlasting memories of joy♥️

We are so so disappointed it has had to come down to this, we can only wonder what impact this will have on the Tourism industry. It’s out of our hands and many others but you can’t keep going with never ending costs!!💔

That’s it for now, a chapter closing and fingers crossed a new one coming!
