One of the things about North Uist is that each day brings something different.Looking from the Lochmaddy harbor over to the Lees in the distance. The rising sun gives the clouds and sky a lovely dreamy pink colour.

We positioned a wildlife camera about 10 meters from our cottage, Taigh Dòbhrain, which means Otter House in Gaelic. It captured amazing footage of local otters.

The gentleman who did the stone walls all the way round the cottage did an amazing job. Looking from the carpark over the turf roof across Loch a' Ghoill with Eaval in the distance. What is even better this picture was taken in November.
