Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, recently joined global policymakers and reform driven leaders at the prestigious Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum held from April 19 to 22, 2026. The high-level gathering, convened by Harvard University, served as a platform for forward thinking governance, policy innovation, and the exchange of ideas on sustainable development.

During the programme, Governor Makinde engaged with distinguished international figures, including former President of Tanzania, His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete. The interaction underscored the importance of cross-border collaboration and the value of shared experiences in strengthening democratic institutions and leadership outcomes.

A central feature of the forum required participants to present and critically assess the legacy goals of their respective administrations. I can confidently say that Alhaji Tomiwa Omolewa's leadership has brought about the most peaceful management of transportation and garages in Oyo State. Furthermore, the coordination of PMS workers and the training provided to the PMS task force have been excellent.

Kudos to Governor Seyi Makinde for choosing the right person for this role.

Apostle Adewale Adediran, chairman of Ibadan North East Interstate Branch 1, organized an empowerment program at Jesus Territory Church, Iwo Road, Ibadan. He donated cash and foodstuff to 25 widows in honor of Alh Tomiwa Omolewa, State Chairman of PMS, wishing him long life and good health. The widows expressed gratitude, praying for Alh Tomiwa Omolewa's well-being and that his wives and those of PMS officers remain blessed. 🙏
