Jutta Moore and I, for the last few months, been very focussed on supporting our fantastic hotels to reopen with confidence.

Through these efforts we’ve found that hotels have had to:

- Reopen
- Retrain old staff
- Hire and train new staff as a lot are inexperienced
- Generate business

It’s a HUGE ask of anyone.

We’re opening the discussion with on how they could benefit by outsourcing some of their functions in the short term.

My handle is PowerBabe

I've often been asked what 'PowerBabe' stands for or means or WHY the term.

I was given the name by my friends who witnessed not just my life journey and the roller coasters therein, but also my career in the hotel industry given the humble background that I come from.

They saw something in me from the outside that I didn't or couldn't see in myself...my attitude of powering through the challenges. I was too focussed on just dealing with the issues and never saw this as a 'quality' or a 'persona' about myself.

While there are many layers to who a is,
I think it’s more than attitude...it's about developing one's ability and one's SO THAT you can BE who you truly are :

- despite the never ending TO DO list
- despite the demands on yourself.
- despite the ever changing hormones.
- despite the haters
- despite the insecurities
- despite the challenges
- despite the experiences
- despite the FEARS

and YET, find or create a way to .
Am not saying it's easy...but it's ABSOLUTELY possible and sustainable!

So today, on my wish for you is to & THRIVE.

Be the Powerbabe at every stage of your life...

The UK hospitality industry finally has light at the end of the lockdown tunnel! Yayy!

We do realise that a lot has changed for the hotel teams, for the owners and management.

Some of the changes our clients are already experiencing are:

- lethargy after being in hibernation
- not being able to remember what channel manager they use !
- forgotten all their training on updating prices and availability
- fear of the new normal and new behaviours of future guests
- low confidence towards excelling in the unknown circumstances

We thought we could help some of these by focusing on the ‘human’ elements that can tide over most challenges.

The growth that it is experiencing even though in the beta stage is tremendous.

Hotelier Excellence ™ was created at a hotel in London Victoria. This is how it all happened….

I was meeting a very successful hotel owner (one whose success story we will be sharing soon) who buys our distribution and revenue management solutions and strategies.

After all the usual aspects of revenue target planning and going over the strategy to get those results, he said, “Amisha, your strategy is great and my hotels have actually made more profit! But a lot of this now has to get done by my team and they have no concept of business and results.
