Walking Olive through the woods on the land that was formerly RAF West Malling, and we discovered a reminder of the Second World War. As we stood there in the silence, the peaceful tranquility of our walk was broken by the reminder of the stories my mum told us of the war times. The London blitz, children evacuated, sent away from their families. The death, destruction and sadness, supposedly never to be repeated. So called world leaders need to wake up to the senselessness of current world events and concentrate on the policies of peace. To shape our future you have to listen to, and understand, the voices from the past. Sorry all, but I had to get that out of my nut so that I can enjoy my walk tomorrow ๐ Take care and mind how you go ๐
