🎃 LOOKING FOR SCARECROW CREATORS! 🌽🍂

Fancy getting creative this autumn and becoming part of something a little bit different?

We’re looking for local businesses, organisations, community groups and creative individuals to get involved in our upcoming Scarecrow Trail at Evenley Wood Gardens! Evenley Wood Garden

Create your very own scarecrow and become part of a fantastic community trail, running from 3rd–18th October.

This is a brilliant opportunity to:

🌻 Promote your local business or organisation
🌻 Get creative and have some fun!
🌻 Bring the community together
🌻 Be part of a fantastic autumn attraction
🌻 Create something that will make visitors smile!

Your scarecrow will need to be ready for installation during the last weekend of September, ahead of the trail opening.

Spaniel, Cockapoo, Labrador, Dachshund, Greyhound, Chihuahua, Heinz 57… we really don’t mind! If they’ve got four paws and love a good tea party, they’re welcome! 🎩🫖🐶

The gardens are family, pushchair and wheelchair friendly, and there are also some amazing insect installations dotted around the woods for you to discover at the moment. 🐝🦋🌿

Join us for a fabulous Friday evening social walk with your dog, followed by the chance to enjoy some delicious fish and chips at ! 🍟🐟🐶

This relaxed 1-hour group dog walk is the perfect opportunity to get out, stretch those paws, meet fellow dog lovers and enjoy some lovely social time with your four-legged friend.

📅 Event Details
Date: Friday 11th September 2026
Arrival: 6:15pm (so you can pre-order your human fish and chips for your return post walk £17.50)
Walk departs: 6:30pm
Walk duration: Approximately 1 hour
Location: The Roebuck Inn

🐕 All dogs welcome!
Dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages are welcome to join us. Whether your dog is a seasoned social walker or joining one of our group walks for the first time, come along and enjoy a fun and friendly evening together.

After the walk, we’ll head back to The Roebuck Inn, where you and your dog can relax and enjoy some well-earned food. 🐾🍟

🍽️ Fish & Chips
Why should the humans have all the fun? You can also pre-order a natural fish and chips box for your dog for £12, ready to collect on the day! Please contact Claire to arrange your dog’s tasty treat by (Monday 7th September at the very latest) supplied by .

ℹ️ Important Information
Pre-booking is required for the walk.
Please arrive by 6:15pm ready for a prompt 6:30pm departure.
Dogs should remain under their owner’s control at all times.
Please bring water, poo bags and anything else your dog may need.
Please ensure your dog is comfortable walking in a group environment.

🐾☀️ The packs are BACK! ☀️🐾

“So happy we’ve finally got a NORMAL weather week and I can get back out with the packs again!” 🐶🥳

After all the hot weather disruption, early starts, cancelled walks and keeping everyone safe, it feels SO good to be back out enjoying our countryside adventures properly! 🌳🐾

Here’s to a week of muddy paws, waggy tails, sniffy adventures and plenty of pack chaos! 😂🐕‍🦺🐕

🐾 A huge thank you to the team at The Red Lion Bloxham. for their wonderful hospitality yesterday on our first ever group walk from Bloxham! ❤️🐾

Considering so many people were away on holiday, we had a brilliant turnout — and we’ve already had people asking when the next one will be! 👀

We’re currently looking at another date for the autumn, so keep your eyes peeled for the announcement… 🍂🐶

I’ll also be putting together a reel from all the content taken on the day shortly. If you grabbed any photos or videos, please tag us, email them over or WhatsApp them across — we’d love to include them! 📸🐾

And as with all of our walks over the next six months, we’ll be asking for a totally optional donation to our chosen charity, Katharine House Hospice 🫶🏻
