Took the opportunity to visit the Beryl Cook exhibition ...what a joy to see her art in real life in such a fabulous local venue. I recommend a visit before it finishes on the 31st May 2026. Get the best of both worlds by staying conveniently close to Plymouth being 18 miles away and the next day pop down to Looe 🌊🏖🎨

It's the most glorious day and Swallows Rest Cottage Looe -holiday home is looking fabulous in the sunshine, how blue is the sky?! The birds are singing (loudly) and the wild flowers look so pretty- its beyond paradise with a cuppa in hand! We have had a cancellation this morning for a week in June Sunday 7th to Sunday 15th...if anyone is looking for a peaceful get-away with Looe being a 10 minute drive!
