The Wee But ‘n’ Ben is a Scottish term for a two roomed cottage consisting of an outer room (But) and an inner room (Ben). This Big Little character is the most compact of our designs yet has a sense of space once you step inside. The authentic stone exterior inspired by the old Scottish Bothy beautifully hugs its shape, while topped with a traditional heritage slate roof and the iconic stone chimney pot!

With some clever jiggery pokery this cosy but comfortable design gives you a double room with ensuite full size shower room, kitchen diner/living, double doors to the rear and a cubby hole that can sleep two accessed by a ladder.

If this wee space was placed into any landscape of natural beauty the fusion between land and architecture would appear timeless…as if to belong to an extensive history of time. 🇬🇧

Firstly they are gift wrapped, then loaded into a lorry, she then takes to the highway and is craned into position. Minimal headache to the buyer, minimal distraction to your site and/or existing guests… we just plug into your existing utilities and pretty much the kettle could be delivered whistling in a matter of a few hours! Walking into one of our Boltholes should feel like home and flow like a home…our interiors reflect the landscape to which it sits, which as you can see this Bolthole is peppered with Scottish touches taken from the Scottish Highlands …. In the bedroom our majestic stag oil painting brings the spirit of Scotland inside whilst providing a sense of depth in the bedroom space. Our resident artist Mago creates bespoke paintings to blend our Boltholes to whichever landscape they are placed in…. Through a pocket door a forest green shower room continues natures palette. A cheeky ladder leads up to the Den with two single beds or double, a perfect get away from the parents space for kids. A rustic fully fitted kitchen, Aga, a Chili Penguin log burner and deep wing backed arm chairs all make up for a cosy hideaway. Indulge
