A massive thank you to everyone who walked through our doors on what was a bit of a wet & wild weekend. You were loud & proud and embraced the Velvet spirit.

From takeovers and bring lots of sass and class… we had a ball. Whilst also celebrating 30 years of Velvet.

Where has the time gone?! August marks 30 incredible years of Velvet on Canal Street. 🖤

Three decades of late nights, long lunches, Pride weekends, packed dance floors, celebrations, questionable hairstyles, even more questionable outfits… and SO many memories. 😂

We’ve been digging through the Velvet archives and found a few gems and trust us, there are soooo many more where these came from.

To everyone who’s walked through our doors, stayed the night, danced until closing, worked behind the bar, celebrated Pride with us or simply called Velvet their favourite spot… you’re part of our story.

30 years down… and we’re nowhere near done.
