Our property has connections to Lord Alfred Tennysons brother Charles who lived in our house back in the 1800s following the death of Rev. The Coach House always looks so much nicer in the summer with all the baskets and planters full of beautiful flowers. Added bonus rhe bees are loving them too.
All flowers bought from Tescos this year and they have not disappointed ⚘️

Our peonies definitely get better year on year and this is without doubt our best year. Lots to pick from at the weekend for the coach house for our guests and plenty to spare for us. Still plenty more left to keep the house beautiful.

It's never a dull moment with animals at Nettleton House - 3 new chicks hatched, 2 baby moorhens hatched this year, a visit from one of the many Muntjac deer and one cavalier who has an 'obsession' with tennis balls and my two little office companions. Our guests always have various animals and wildlife visit during their stay - the bonus is getting to see the tawny owls who also live in our garden.

It's rare I take time out at lunch but after advise from my consultant to walk more I took some time to have a stroll round the garden. Sometimes we miss the beauty that is around us as we are 'too busy' - here's a snippet of some of the beautiful flowers in the garden - surprising they are so good given the lack of rain. Remember to take just 10 minutes to stop and look around today. Have a great day 😀

We have been very quiet on our page after I had an accident 6 weeks ago - I have been admiring the change of seasons from the window while I recover from a skin graft but today I had a little walk in our orchard to see the wonderful blossom. I have learnt it really is the simple things that make your day
